# Exxat DS — bulk action keyboard shortcuts

## MUST

1. **Every `BulkAction` declares `shortcut: string`.** Required on
   `BulkAction<TRow>` in `packages/ui/src/components/data-views/hub-table.tsx`.
2. **Show the chord at rest.** Structured `bulkActions` render
   `<Kbd variant="bare">` **inline** on labeled buttons and mount
   `<Shortcut keys={…}>` while the bar is visible. Icon-only → Tip + chord.
3. **Only use the safe family: ⌘⌥ / Ctrl+Alt + key.** Bulk chords MUST be
   built as `` `${mod}${alt}<Key>` `` via `useModKeyLabel()` + `useAltKeyLabel()`.
   Never ⌘⇧ / Ctrl+Shift, never mod-only letter, never bare ⌘⌫ for bulk delete.

4. **Custom `bulkActionsSlot`** — same inline bare `Kbd` + `<Shortcut>` parity.
5. **Clear selection** stays **Esc** (DataTable) — do not steal Esc for a bulk action.
6. **Ban list** — follow `exxat-kbd-shortcuts.mdc` § “Never bind”. Especially never
   bind bulk actions to ⌘⇧E, ⌘⌫, ⌘D, ⌘I, ⌘⌥←/→.

## MUST NOT

- Omit `shortcut` on a `BulkAction`.
- Show a Kbd without a matching `<Shortcut>` (or vice versa).
- Use ⌘⇧ / Ctrl+Shift chords for bulk actions (OS/browser collisions).
- Use filled primary buttons in the bulk bar (P3).
