# Context entry standards

## Before editing

- Before non-trivial work in a domain, read its `.claude/context/<domain>.md` entry. Use `.claude/context/index.md` to find it.
- Leave the entry conforming when work in its domain changes what it describes.

## Narration pronouns

Do not open a bullet with one of these where the antecedent is the bullet above it.

- `It`, `That`, `This`, `These`, `Those`, `They`

## Narration verbs

Do not put a sibling bullet's design in the past with one of these.

- `was`, `were`, `became`, `replaced`, `superseded`, `used to`

## Authority

- Follow the context standard for entry shape: frontmatter, sections, length, and what goes in. It is the single source. Read it with `aitk standards context`.
