This license covers the original Cynos Engineer work in this package:
the compiled extension code (index.js), the native Cynos skills, and the
subagent definitions. Third-party content bundled under skills/ui-design/
is governed by its own upstream license — see "Third-party content" below.

By installing, copying, or using this software you agree to the terms below.
If you do not agree, do not install or use it.

1. PERMITTED USE
   You may install and use this software for personal, internal, and
   commercial evaluation, including running it inside AI coding agents on
   systems you own or control. The skill and subagent text is necessarily
   shipped in readable form so that agents can load it at runtime; this
   readability is a feature of the software, not a grant of additional rights.

2. COPYRIGHT & ATTRIBUTION
   All original content in this package is the copyrighted work of Jay Shen.
   If you reference, screenshot, or describe Cynos Engineer in writing, include
   the attribution "Cynos Engineer by Jay Shen" and, where practical, a link
   to the package or repository.

3. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS
   All rights not expressly granted here are reserved by Jay Shen. No
   intellectual property rights are transferred to you.

4. RESTRICTIONS
   You may NOT, without prior written permission from Jay Shen:
   (a) redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, lend, host, or re-publish
       this package or any substantial part of it to any third party;
       (downloading via the official npm registry for your own use is not a
       redistribution under this clause);
   (b) remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or license notice;
   (c) use this software to build a directly competing product or service whose
       primary value is reproducing Cynos Engineer's skills, prompts, or
       engineering workflow.

   Permitted use under §1 is not affected by this section.

5. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
   Some directories in this package contain third-party material bundled under
   their own upstream licenses. Those licenses — not this one — govern that
   material, and this license makes no claim over it. Each such directory
   contains its own LICENSE and SOURCE file identifying the upstream project,
   its copyright holders, and its license. As of this version, the known
   bundled third-party content is:
   - skills/ui-design/ — MIT-licensed, bundled from the web-design-engineer
     skill in ConardLi/garden-skills (v1.2.2). See skills/ui-design/LICENSE and
     skills/ui-design/SOURCE.md.

   CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF
   OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS SOFTWARE,
   EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

8. TERMINATION
   Jay Shen may terminate your license at any time for any reason. Upon
   termination you must cease all use and destroy all copies in your
   possession or control.
