- Invalid `select` field requests now surface OpenAlex's validation message, including the list of valid fields for that entity type
- OpenAlex 4xx responses now map to specific MCP error classes (`invalidParams`, `notFound`, `rateLimited`, etc.) while preserving upstream messages
- Expanded tests for generic field rendering, cursor formatting, abstract normalization, and upstream error handling behavior
