# Xigua Debug

Use this skill when `xigua-agent` is failing, behaving inconsistently, or the user wants a root-cause analysis.

## Goals

- Reproduce the failure with the smallest useful probe
- Isolate the failing layer before changing code
- Distinguish provider issues from runtime, tool, config, or skill issues
- Verify the fix with the exact failing path

## Default Workflow

1. Capture the exact symptom and the most recent failing command or prompt.
2. Identify the layer:
   - provider
   - permission
   - tool invocation
   - prompt/session/compact
   - skill discovery or install
   - config
3. Reproduce with the smallest deterministic command or test.
4. Change one layer at a time.
5. Re-run the failing path and then broader verification.

If you need a checklist, open `references/debug-checklist.md`.

## Guardrails

- Do not jump straight to provider blame
- Do not claim a fix without rerunning the failing case
- Prefer evidence from logs, tests, and exact command output over assumptions
