# Function: updateCartPrices()

> **updateCartPrices**\<`T`, `T2`\>(`cartPrices`, `updatePrices`?): `T`

Updates the prices of products in the cart.

## Type Parameters

• **T** *extends* [`ICartPricingResult`](../interfaces/ICartPricingResult.md)

• **T2** *extends* [`IUpdateCartPrices`](../interfaces/IUpdateCartPrices.md)

extends IUpdateCartPrices

## Parameters

• **cartPrices**: `T`

{T} - The cart prices

• **updatePrices?**: `T2`

{T2} - The prices to update. For CATEGORY/GLOBAL flows,
`updatePrices.categories.*` and `updatePrices.subtotal` are subtotal pools
(pre-exclusive-tax).

## Returns

`T`

- The updated cart prices
