# Function: toFixed()

> **toFixed**(`num`, `precision`): `number`

Rounds a number to a specified precision and returns the result.

## Parameters

• **num**: `number`

The number to round.

• **precision**: `number`

The number of decimal places to round to.

## Returns

`number`

The rounded number.
