# Function: isInEnum()

> **isInEnum**(`enumType`, `value`): `boolean`

Checks if a value is a valid member of an enum.

## Parameters

• **enumType**: [`Enum`](../type-aliases/Enum.md)

The enum to check against.

• **value**: `string` \| `number`

The value to check.

## Returns

`boolean`

True if the value is a valid member of the enum, false otherwise.
