# Function: calculateTotalQuantity()

> **calculateTotalQuantity**(`quantities`, `startQuantity`): `number`

Calculates the total quantity by summing up the given quantities.

## Parameters

• **quantities**: `number`[]

The quantities to be summed up.

• **startQuantity**: `number` = `0`

The starting quantity for the calculation.

## Returns

`number`

The persisted total quantity.
