# Function: ~~calculatePriceWithTax()~~

> **calculatePriceWithTax**(`price`, `taxPercent`?, `quantity`?, `skipRounding`?): `number`

Calculates the price with tax.

## Parameters

• **price**: `number`

The price of the item.

• **taxPercent?**: `number`

The tax percentage to apply (optional).

• **quantity?**: `number` = `DEFAULT_QUANTITY`

The quantity of items (default: DEFAULT_QUANTITY).

• **skipRounding?**: `boolean` = `false`

Whether to skip rounding the price. Defaults to false.

## Returns

`number`

The calculated price with tax.
