# Function: calculateDue()

> **calculateDue**(`price`, `paidAmount`): `number`

Calculates the amount due based on the price and the amount already paid.

## Parameters

• **price**: `number`

The total price of the item.

• **paidAmount**: `number` = `0`

The amount already paid. Defaults to 0.

## Returns

`number`

The amount due.
