## Contiguous group summarization

A future version may allow selecting a contiguous range of active-path logical units and replacing it with a manually supplied or model-generated summary. It must remain copy-on-write, preserve the original entries, keep tool exchanges whole, and record provenance and usage. This is not part of V1.
