# Reader report: contradicting observation

<!-- Shape shared by agent-filed and human-filed reports. File as a `reader-report`-labeled issue
     on the ARA's repository, or hand the file to the ARA's research-manager run as input.
     Consumed by research-manager Stage 1 as a candidate event and adjudicated in the same turn:
     verified against evidence resolvable inside the ARA, then upheld (correction folded in, full
     provenance and before/after recorded), rejected (verdict + reason recorded), or — when the
     ARA contains nothing that can corroborate or refute it — flagged unverifiable (CONFLICT flag
     + unresolved node, repro preserved for a future run). The human is notified of the verdict
     after the fact, not asked to decide. The ARA's research-manager remains the single writer. -->

- **Target entry**: <!-- native ref, verbatim — e.g. logic/claims.md#C02 -->
- **Contradicted clause**: <!-- quote the specific Statement/Conditions clause you dispute -->

     never a mere absence -->
- **Basis**: <!-- native refs actually read and/or reader-side evidence pointers
     (logs, frames, run records) -->
- **Repro**: <!-- how to re-check the observation, if applicable -->
- **Reader context**: <!-- who/what produced this: agent/session/harness; environment version
     if known -->
