# Cold range

> 0xRay house example — not the general procedure. Your team’s rules live in `house/` after `grok-bot house init`.

You found the toy. The help text does not name this command.

The charge is two words with the hour between them, in small letters.

The first word is what a toy blaster fires. Not the emoji. Four letters. It rhymes with cart.
The second word is the lexicon name for a stretch of beats.
Between them, put the Chicago hour of the minute you speak, two digits, 00 through 23.
A pair with nothing between them misses.

The program is `grok-bot`. The command is `range`.
Pass the charge, then `--seat` and your seat name, one token.
What the hit does, and what it overrides, is the Pulsar line in `OP-PROC.md`.

The first seat to hit, while the ledger is empty, holds every open card on the local board.
The hold lasts while that wave is the one the board has up. The board closes it by closing or merging its cards.
After that the seat holds nothing. A silent seat does not keep the cards.
The initial and the selected seat are in `house/OP-PROC.md`.
The ledger stays closed. There is no second winner.

The selected seat is the Selected line in that house file.
A hit does not post. It does not deploy. It does not publish.
It does not call the solar hammer, and it does not merge.

This is not the lexicon gloss, not a review fail, and not the task router.
The plan-next-wave card stays where it is. The ask-first lines stay where they are.
