If you believe that content accessible through or hosted by GhostLink infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure below to submit a takedown notice. --- ## 01 / GhostLink's Role & Scope GhostLink operates as a platform that includes: - A **web proxy** that relays requests to third-party websites — GhostLink does not host or control the content of those sites - A **games hub** that links to and displays browser-based games sourced from third-party repositories - A **community app marketplace** where user-submitted HTML applications are listed - **Custom app hosting** where users can run self-provided HTML content locally in their browser GhostLink acts as a conduit for third-party content in many cases. For content hosted directly by or on behalf of GhostLink (e.g., within the GitHub repository at [github.com/virtuan4-max/ghostlinkhub](https://github.com/virtuan4-max/ghostlinkhub)), we will respond promptly to valid DMCA notices. > **Note on Proxied Content:** GhostLink's web proxy relays third-party websites in real time and does not store or cache their content on GhostLink's servers. DMCA claims regarding content on third-party websites must be directed to those websites or their hosts directly. GhostLink cannot remove content it does not host. --- ## 02 / Submitting a DMCA Takedown Notice To submit a valid DMCA takedown notice for content directly hosted by GhostLink, your notice must include all of the following elements as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3): 1. **Identification of the copyrighted work** claimed to have been infringed, or if multiple works, a representative list. 2. **Identification of the infringing material** and information reasonably sufficient to allow GhostLink to locate it (e.g., URL, filename, or description of where the content appears on or through GhostLink). 3. **Your contact information**, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address. 4. **A statement of good faith belief** that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law. 5. **A statement of accuracy and authority**, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf. 6. **Your physical or electronic signature.** --- ## 03 / How to Submit **The preferred and fastest method is to DM the developer directly on Discord.** - **Discord (Preferred):** Send a direct message to the GhostLink developer via the [official Discord server](https://discord.gg/dKs2sUNUXd). Include all required elements listed in Section 02. This is the fastest way to get a response. - **GitHub (Alternative):** Open an issue or contact the maintainer via the [GhostLink GitHub repository](https://github.com/virtuan4-max/ghostlinkhub). For content hosted on GitHub itself, GitHub has its own DMCA process at [github.com/contact/dmca-takedown](https://support.github.com/contact/dmca-takedown). > **Warning — Misrepresentation:** Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. Please ensure your claim is made in good faith. --- ## 04 / Counter-Notification If you believe content was removed from GhostLink as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3) must contain: - Your physical or electronic signature - Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal - A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification - Your name, address, and telephone number - A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the United States, any judicial district in which GhostLink may be found - A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice Submit counter-notifications through the same channels listed in Section 03. --- ## 05 / Repeat Infringer Policy GhostLink maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. GhostLink reserves the right to remove content and restrict access without prior notice in cases of repeated or egregious copyright violations. --- ## 06 / Games Library — Copyright Claims **GhostLink does not own, operate, or control the games library.** The games catalog is maintained by an independent third party. GhostLink acts solely as a frontend interface and has no ability to add, modify, or remove individual games from the library. **If you have a DMCA claim regarding a game, you must contact the games library maintainer directly:** - **GitHub:** [github.com/gn-math](https://github.com/gn-math) GhostLink cannot process or act on DMCA notices for games content and will redirect all such claims to the above. Sending a game-related DMCA notice to GhostLink will not result in removal of the content. --- ## 07 / Modifications GhostLink reserves the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time.
