"""Tier 0 live verification: the documented local path, end to end (ADR-026, #1189).

The claim (LIVE_VERIFICATION.md): the sequence the quickstart prints actually
produces a refusal -- pin what the servers serve, call the tool through your own
client, change the tool, and watch the same call be refused.

This is deliberately the *operator's* path and not the developer's. The unit and
integration suites assert the same mechanics against a hand-written config;
here the configuration is the one `mcp-hangar pin --write` produced, the gateway
is the shipped console script over stdio, and the caller is the SDK's own
`ClientSession` -- the three things a reader of the quickstart actually has.

What it pins, in order:

1. with `auth.stdio.principal`, `front_door` over stdio serves the upstream's
   flat tool names (identity reaches Hangar on a transport that has no request);
2. that tool is callable;
3. after the upstream changes its description, the identical call is refused
   with the pinned-digest error;
4. without the principal block, the same config serves nothing -- the
   fail-closed behaviour ADR-026 must not have loosened.

Skip-safe: skips (never fails) without the demo upstream. Without this
checkout's CLI it fails (``tests/_hangar_executable.py``). Run with::

    MCP_HANGAR_LIVE_VERIFY=1 uv run pytest tests/live -m live -o addopts=""
