# Recover a release workspace

A deployment failed because a copied script lost its executable bit. At the same time, the on-call engineer needs a small incident report from a noisy log.

Work from `/workspace`. Use `ls -l`, `chmod`, pipes, and redirection to repair the environment. Avoid permissive modes such as `777`: operational fixes should grant only the access that is required.

## Why this matters

Platform engineers routinely diagnose failed automation caused by paths, permissions, and malformed pipelines. The validator checks the resulting system state, not the command history, so any safe solution is accepted.
