\Eastside Hockey Manager\pictures\icons\0.jpg) | The NHL has released the annual list of award nominees. For each category in which the winner is voted, there are three nominees. The annual NHL Awards Ceremony is held right after the Stanley Cup Finals.
Here are the candidates for season 2018-19:
Jack Adams Award 1. CGY Head Coach, Calgary Flames 2. PHI Fred Shero, Philadelphia Flyers 3. TOR Head Coach, Toronto Maple Leafs Annual award given to the NHL coach adjudged to have contributed the most to his team's success
Calder Memorial Trophy 1. Nick Merkley, Columbus Blue Jackets 2. Michael McLeod, Tampa Bay Lightning 3. Michael Dal Colle, New York Rangers Annual award given to the player selected as the most proficient in his first year of competition in the National Hockey League
Hart Memorial Trophy 1. Jamie Benn, Columbus Blue Jackets 2. Patrik Laine, Winnipeg Jets 3. Connor McDavid, Dallas Stars Annual award given to the player judged to be the most valuable to his team
Lady Byng Memorial Trophy 1. Patrik Laine, Winnipeg Jets 2. William Karlsson, St. Louis Blues 3. Jonathan Drouin, Montreal Canadiens Annual award given to the player adjudged to have exhibited the best type of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct combined with a high standard of playing ability
James Norris Memorial Trophy 1. Jake Muzzin, Los Angeles Kings 2. Torey Krug, New Jersey Devils 3. Zach Werenski, Columbus Blue Jackets Annual award given to the defense player who demonstrates throughout the season the greatest all-round ability in the position
Frank J. Selke Trophy 1. Logan Shaw, Philadelphia Flyers 2. Sonny Milano, Columbus Blue Jackets 3. Milan Lucic, Edmonton Oilers Annual award given to the forward who best excels in the defensive aspects of the game

Altough he seems very fond of this highly skilled youngster, he didn't want to comment on his team's strategy concerning the upcoming draft.
Ryder Donovan has played 76 games with Prince Albert Raiders this season, collecting 50+27=77 with 37 PIM.

Altough he seems very fond of this highly skilled youngster, he didn't want to comment on his team's strategy concerning the upcoming draft.
Martin Hugo Has has played 56 games with Spartak Moscow this season, collecting 6+12=18 with 52 PIM.

He is expected to be sidelined for a couple of days. I just hope I can get back on the ice quickly and do what I can for the team, he said while limping toward the dressing room.

A native of Canada, P.K. Subban was originally drafted to the NHL by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2nd round of the 2007 entry draft. He has appeared in 662 NHL games during his career, notching 92 goals and adding 308 assists along with 660 penalty minutes. The 29 year old defenseman has played 80 games with the Nashville Predators this season, totalling 8+28=36 with 34 PIM.
